Yes. The website has a free photo-analysis demo and a downloadable sample PDF. You can also download the Word starter template from our Word report guide. The First Report purchase is $9.99 USD for one generated report, with no subscription.

Stripe returns you to FieldScribe with your purchased workspace ready to open. You can save a password for future visits, add the inspection details and a photo or note, generate a draft, and review it before exporting. You do not have to wait for an email to start after checkout.

Yes. FieldScribe works in modern mobile and desktop browsers. Microphone access is optional: you can type notes instead. An internet connection is required for AI analysis, report generation, and account syncing.

Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP images, up to 30 photos for one inspection. If your camera saves HEIC or another format, export a JPG or PNG first. Clear photos of each relevant area give you a better draft than distant or blurry images.

One generated inspection report, up to 30 photo analyses, typed and voice notes, account draft and report saving, edits to the saved report, and PDF/text export. It is a one-time purchase in USD with no automatic renewal. Customer branding and Word export are an optional $2.99 extra for that report.

Solo includes 20 reports and 500 photo analyses per monthly billing period. It renews monthly until you cancel. Customer branding and Word export remain optional at $2.99 per report.

Yes. Upgrade from your First Report workspace and a $9.99 credit is applied automatically to your first Solo payment. No promotion code is needed. Later monthly renewals are $29 USD.

Open Billing in your workspace to manage your Stripe subscription, payment method, and invoices. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues through the paid billing period. Cancellation does not automatically refund past payments. Contact support@fieldscribe.report if you need help with a payment.

A report credit is consumed when the generated report is successfully saved. Retrying the same inspection recovers an already saved result without consuming another credit. You can edit and download that saved report again; generating a different report requires available credit or a Solo allowance.

Yes. The $2.99 USD upgrade for a saved report removes the FieldScribe footer and promotional link from its exports. Save your company name, contact details, and logo, then download a customer-branded PDF or editable Word file. Repeat downloads of that report are included.

Yes. Upload a .docx template under 2 MB with {report} in its own paragraph where the findings should appear. Existing letterhead, headers, branding, and signature areas stay in the template. Optional placeholders can insert the property address, client, inspection date, inspector, and company details. Old .doc files and macro-enabled templates are not supported.

Yes. The exported .docx is editable so your engineer can revise the wording, add project details, and add their signature using your normal Word workflow. FieldScribe does not provide engineering approval, a professional seal, or an electronic-signature service.

Not currently. Word exports include report text and job details. Insert and arrange photographs manually in Word, or use the PDF photo addendum from the browser holding the original photos. This also applies when exporting through your own Word template.

No. The upgrade belongs to that saved report. You can update its branding, edit the report, and download it again without repurchasing the upgrade. A different report needs its own upgrade.

Your Word template is processed in your browser and is not stored on our server. Select it again when you return. The company name, contact details, and resized logo you save for an upgraded report are stored with that report in your account.

Report text, inspection details, findings, and saved edits are stored in your account. Drafts also save on the current device. Original photo files stay in the current browser's local storage; they are not uploaded as an account photo library. Keep the original images if you need them on another device.

Use Customer sign in with the same email used at checkout. If you saved a purchase password, choose Password. Otherwise request an email sign-in link. If an old link has expired or was already used, request a fresh one. Contact support@fieldscribe.report if you cannot get in.

You retain ownership of your inspection reports, photos, and recordings. FieldScribe uses the submitted material to provide the requested analysis and report. Review the privacy policy for the services involved in processing and saving your work.

FieldScribe is not a complete offline inspection system. Local draft recovery can retain work in the same browser, but analysis, transcription, report generation, and account syncing need an internet connection. Keep your original photos and notes until the report is safely saved and exported.

Review every report before sharing it. AI can miss conditions or use wording that needs correction. A photo cannot establish concealed conditions, measurements, or compliance that were not verified on site. The responsible inspector or engineer must confirm the findings and recommendations.

FieldScribe focuses on drafting reports. It does not include scheduling, CRM, or native one-click export into those platforms. You can export and reuse reviewed text in another system, or share a PDF or an upgraded Word file through your existing workflow.

You can select regional wording for North America, the UK and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, or Europe. This adjusts report terminology. It does not certify compliance with local laws, standards, or professional requirements; your reviewer must verify those.
