Both products write inspection reports

ISN's current offering includes its report writer at no extra charge. It supports text and voice input, photographs, video and templates within the ISN workflow. An older description of ISN as a product that does not write reports would be incorrect.

FieldScribe uses guided inspection sections, photos and typed or spoken observations to create a report draft. Its focus is capture, review, saved reports and repeatable exports. You supply the observations and review the generated wording.

ISN lists $7.25 per inspection for the first 50 each month, followed by lower volume tiers. A monthly minimum applies after the trial. Confirm the current minimum and any optional services with ISN.

FieldScribe's first report is $9.99. Solo costs $29/month and includes 20 reports and 500 photo analyses per billing period. Company branding and Word export add $2.99 for each saved report you upgrade. Read the complete FieldScribe limits.

For a fictional month with 20 inspections, ISN's first-tier arithmetic is $145, subject to the monthly minimum. FieldScribe Solo is $29 for up to 20 generated reports; upgrading all 20 to Word/company branding would add $59.80. These are different service scopes, not equivalent bundles.

Check the report your reviewer actually needs

Compare the complete report, photo references, edits, saved records and delivery format. If a reviewer needs a company Word template, use our Word starter and instructions to test the requirement. Custom-template photos need manual placement, and FieldScribe does not supply engineering approval or a digital-signature service.
